This is a family story that began in 1999, when Nicolae and his son Eugen united their passion and craftsmanship in winemaking in pursuit of a shared dream.
In the heart of Moldova, in Bucovăț, on a foundation laid in the mid-20th century, the winery was revived in 2003, equipped with modern technologies and oak barrels, where tradition intertwines with innovation.
Every stage — from organic grape cultivation to wine aging — is guided by care and dedication. Nicolae’s more than 50 years of experience, combined with Eugen’s fresh perspective, give life to wines that carry the imprint of a connection between generations.
Thus, since 2022, Bomente has been revealing its soul in every bottle, winning the hearts of those who seek not just wine, but a living legend.
About Wine
The vineyards are located on hilly plots, ensuring good exposure and drainage. The estate practices a restrained approach to viticulture, aimed at preserving the natural balance of the ecosystem.
Throughout the season, constant monitoring of the health of the vines and the harvest is carried out.
Harvesting is done manually at the moment of optimal technological and phenolic maturity, which allows obtaining high-quality raw materials for subsequent processing.
Style
Vinification is carried out in small batches. Fermentation and maceration parameters are selected individually for each grape variety to emphasize its varietal characteristics as much as possible.
Aging is used selectively and is considered a tool rather than an end in itself, allowing the freshness and elegance of the wines to be preserved.
The style of Vantage Avenue wines is characterized by precision, purity of profile, and restrained harmony.
